Kate & Nick’s ceremony took place in St Michael’s a small but perfectly formed 12th century Church in idyllic Wartnaby on the late Lord King’s estate in North East Leics. The groom’s party arrived in good time, resplendent in morning suits; Nick’s son Lex, one of the best men, looked particularly smart. Kate looked fantastic in a slim silhouetted lace layered dress and was very relaxed with her team of 5 bridesmaids all dressed in ivory. After a traditional service, including a brilliant reading from 7 year old Lex (who nearly became the star of the show!), the bride, groom and wedding party opted to take the short walk through the village to the reception.

There are Marquees, and then there are Marquees presented and catered for by ‘Stones Events‘. Within this fabulous structure, guests were soon sipping Cocktails, enjoying canapés and listening to a live acoustic set in the perfect sunshine. Kate & Nick were in their element like social butterfly’s keenly circulating amidst their friends and family. The lovely energy coming out of Kate & Nick continued through to the meal and the speeches. The first dance followed and as we left late into the evening the party was in full swing!

Congratulations both on a fabulous day and all our best wishes for a happy future! xx
