I met up with Rachel and Mark a couple of weeks ago in the Leicestershire countryside of Wistow. This was a familiar spot for them as they spend spare time walking their dog there; and of course Betty joined us for the shoot too. Luckily, Rachel’s sister had come along  to dogsit as Betty has a tendency to get jealous when Rachel and Mark get too close! A week into spring and the weather was interesting! So windy that at points it felt like we were in a huge wind tunnel, so loud and strong that it nearly knocked me off a stye.  Rachel and Mark embraced the weather and each other as they worked with the strong wind to make Rachel’s long hair flow making for some dynamic shots. As with most shoots, the more natural, the better. As good sports, they were more than happy to paddle across water in their wellies to reach an isolated long grass verge. Regardless of the un spring like weather, lambs were still  galloping around in one of the fields. Rachel and Mark sat amongst them and the sheep gathered round to watch: A perfect picture!

It was great to spend the afternoon with you both. A truly lovely couple, you complement each other well. As I drove away from Wistow the sun did annoyingly make a brief appearance, let’s hope it’s saving itself for your wedding day in July.

Xx
